120 miles · ~2h 30min · via A68 / A1
VibeMove runs regular Edinburgh to Newcastle removals from Scotland into England. The 120-mile drive takes about 2h 30min via the A68 / A1, and we load, drive and unload with the same insured crew — no depots, no handovers.
Send us both postcodes, your date and a rough list of items. We reply with a fixed price, book a start time and arrive with blankets, straps and tools. For long-distance Edinburgh – Newcastle moves we usually start at 7am so the van reaches Newcastle the same day; very large homes can be split into a load day and a delivery day.
A one-bed or part-load with one man and van typically costs from £510; a two-man crew for a two-bed home is around £790 (about 8 crew hours including the return run). Our rate card is £40/hr for one man, £70/hr for two, with the first 10 miles included and £1 per mile after that — no hidden fuel or toll extras.
House and flat removals, student moves, single furniture items, appliances, office and business moves, and motorcycles. We also handle part-loads and shared loads between Scotland and England, which can cut the price for smaller moves.
Goods-in-transit insured, licensed waste carrier, 7 days a week, and the same driver from first message to last box. Based in Coatbridge, we cover Glasgow, Lanarkshire, all of Scotland and every major town in England.
From around £510 with one man and van, or about £790 with two men for a typical two-bed home. You get a fixed quote before booking.
