Pricing questions
How much does a man and van cost per hour?+
One man and van is £40 per hour and two men are £70 per hour. There is a minimum booking of two hours on local jobs, and the first 10 miles of driving are included.
How is mileage charged?+
The first 10 miles are free. After that mileage is £1 per mile, calculated on the driving distance between your pickup and delivery postcodes.
Do you charge extra for stairs?+
Stairs are included in most quotes. Tell us the floor number and whether there is a lift and we confirm any stair time in the written quote before the van is booked.
Is a man and van cheaper than a skip?+
For most household clearances yes — there is no permit, no waiting for collection and no loading it yourself. A two-man clearance is £70 per hour and the waste leaves the same day.
What payment methods do you accept?+
Bank transfer, card or cash on the day. Business customers can be invoiced, and you get a receipt for every job.
Can I get a fixed price instead of hourly?+
Yes. Send both postcodes, the floor numbers and a rough inventory on WhatsApp and we will quote one all-in fixed price for the job.
