How our man and van service works in Scotland
Booking a removal should take minutes, not days. Send us your postcodes and a quick list of what is moving and you get a fixed all-in price — £40 per hour for one man and van, £70 per hour for two men, the first 10 miles included. Below is exactly what happens from your first message to the last box being carried in, plus how we price stairs, mileage and driving time.

Tell us about the move
Send your pickup and delivery postcodes, the date you need and a short list of what is moving. Use the quote form, WhatsApp on +44 7476 052809 or email info@vibemove.co.uk. Photos of large or awkward items help us send the right van and crew first time.

Get a fixed price, usually within the hour
We price on crew size, hours and mileage — £40/hour for one man and van, £70/hour for two men. The first 10 miles are included, then £1 per mile. No hidden fuel levies, congestion add-ons or weekend premiums appear later.

Book your slot
Confirm by WhatsApp or email and pick a morning or afternoon window, including evenings and weekends. Same day and next day slots are often available across Lanarkshire, Glasgow and central Scotland.

We prepare and protect
Blankets, straps, trolleys and a tail-lift-friendly loading plan come as standard. Tell us about stairs, lifts, permits or parking restrictions and we plan the access before the van leaves the yard.

Load, drive, unload
Your insured crew arrives on time, loads carefully, drives direct and places every item in the room you want. Goods in transit cover and public liability insurance apply throughout.

Final check and payment
We walk the property with you, reassemble anything we dismantled and remove packaging or waste if you booked clearance. Pay by bank transfer or card on completion — you get a written receipt.
What your quote includes
- Hourly crew rate: £40 for one man and van, £70 for two men, charged from arrival.
- Mileage: first 10 miles free, then £1 per mile between postcodes.
- Driving time charged at the crew rate after the first 20 minutes.
- Blankets, straps, trolleys, goods in transit and public liability insurance.
- Optional extras quoted up front: stairs above ground floor, dismantling, waste clearance.
How to prepare for moving day
- Pack small items into boxes and label them by room — loose bags slow loading down.
- Empty drawers and wardrobes; we can dismantle beds and flat-pack furniture on request.
- Reserve parking or a suspension bay if you are on a red route or a tenement street.
- Book lift access with your building manager for flats above the second floor.
- Keep valuables, documents and medication with you rather than in the van.
- Flag anything fragile, heavy or over 2 metres so we bring extra straps and a second pair of hands.
